Should I Get Involved with Journey Conversations?
Drexel's Interfaith Council is very excited about a new program aimed at deepening and expanding conversation about life's big questions on campus. The Drexel Journey Conversations is an approach to building interfaith relationships through facilitated small groups that engage in shared sacred readings, individual storytelling, deep listening, compassionate responding and collective reflection.
Journey Conversations is going to be an amazing experience: THE REWARDS:
THE PROGRAM (attend some or all of our events): Journey Conversations is a structured conversational program - each week our conversation will center around a different question aimed at inspiring participants to share personal stories of how they relate to the week's topic in an effort to learn about ourselves and the experiences of our peers as we confront life's big questions. The conversation is not a debate or an analysis of our positions, rather it is an opportunity for each participant to speak about how they experience the week's topic in our own lives, where we are confused, curious or growing around this issue, and invite peers to help us to learn more about ourselves. Each week will have the following format:
